If the scalp is excessively sensitive, it often causes discomfort and manifests itself as hyperreactive or hypersensitive - an excessive reaction to various factors such as physical and emotional stress, hormonal changes, climatic conditions, inappropriate diet, etc. The symptoms are burning, itching, dryness, stinging, pain and redness. One of the frequent causes of sensitive scalp is unsuitable shampoo, which contains irritating cleaning ingredients and thus disrupts the acidic protective layer of the skin. It dries and irritates it more and can lead to the creation of micro-inflammations of the skin, which makes the skin even more sensitive.
MARK shampoo Sensitive scalp was developed precisely for those who suffer from this discomfort. The shampoo respects the natural microflora of the skin, has an acidic pH (value of 5.00), which makes cleaning gentle and effective at the same time, respects the natural acidic environment of the scalp, hydrates and soothes it. All surfactants used are very gentle on hair and skin, compared to traditional surfactants such as sulfates.
Usage:
Start by thoroughly moisturizing your hair and scalp. This step is crucial for the shampoo to clean the skin well and effectively.
The first cleaning washes away surface dirt, grease and styling product residues. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo to the palms of your hands and gradually massage to the roots all over the scalp. You can proceed from the ears, above the forehead, through the crown to the back of the head to reach every place. Then pour warm water over your hair to create a lather. Then massage the entire scalp well with the tips of your fingers. With a sensitive scalp, it is important to use a gentle technique - not to scrub too much, but rather to gently massage the skin. If you feel that there is not enough lather, add a little water (not shampoo). During the first cleaning, the shampoo may not create enough foam, which is a sign that impurities still prevail. Finally, rinse your hair with warm water.
Second cleaning - repeat the entire procedure once more. The second wash cleans deeply. The shampoo lathers better and reaches deeper into the hair follicles and scalp. Thanks to this, it works more efficiently and can better remove dirt that the first wash did not release. During the second wash, a rich foam is created, which is also pulled to the ends and washed with it along the length of the hair.
Finally, rinse the shampoo well with warm water. Pay extra attention when washing off the shampoo and make sure the entire scalp and hair is rinsed. Poor shampooing can result in hair being left greasy and heavy. Always use a conditioner or hair mask after washing. It is important to restore the moisture and hydration of the hair.
Active ingredients of the shampoo:
Glyceryl oleate: helps mitigate the effect of surfactants so that the hair remains hydrated and soft, is non-irritating and adds gentle lipids to the product. Glyceryl oleate is made by esterification of two plant-derived ingredients, glyceryl and oleic acid. Found in hair and skin lipids, it helps to wash really gently and to keep hair hydrated and soft.
Glycerin is a moisturizing ingredient that adds moisture to washed hair and scalp.
Betaine as a natural amino acid derivative acts as a moisturizing component. It is obtained from sugar beet molasses and has excellent antistatic and conditioning properties.
Prebiotic active ingredients support the microbial protective flora of the scalp. They act as a nutritional supplement for our own protective microorganisms, but are unsuitable for unwanted pathogens. It eliminates harmful organisms and the skin microbiome recovers faster. It restores its balance and thus also alleviates or disappears symptoms of skin irritation. The skin becomes more resistant to external influences such as pollution, UV radiation, and the action of chemical substances.
PANTHENOL moisturizes, softens and nourishes the scalp. It contributes to the strengthening and healthy appearance of the hair. It is a well-known healing ingredient, with great effects on skin and hair.
