I decided to make today’s blogpost a little untraditional. I keep getting lots of questions regarding skin care and me, so I wanted to dedicate it some space. So what would you like to know?
MARK contains oils, will it clog my pores?
I understand that clogged pores are every woman’s nightmare because they can result in breakouts and acne spots. MARK nourishes the skin without clogging them. The oils I use are easily absorbable and they create a breathable film on the skin.
I have acne prone skin, which MARK is the most suitable for me?
Here it depends, whether you want to use me specifically on body or on face. For the whole body I recommend MARK Coffee Citrus, as citrus essential oils combined with coffee clean skin up perfectly. For face there is no better option than MARK Scrub Tea tree & Jojoba. It contains jojoba oil famous for its nurturing effects, and avocado oil that rejuvenates the skin thanks to vitamin E and D, recovers skin elasticity and has significant regenerating and hydrating effects. I added grapefruit essential oil to this base in order for this citrus oil to cleanse the skin properly. And last but not least, tea tree oil. I bet you’ve already heard of it. It has strong antibacterial properties that destroy acne and breakouts. If your face is prone to acne because of being very oily, I suggest you try my MARK Green tea face mask as well. Try it and let me know if I helped :)
D-R-Y. My skin is extremely dry. I am so anxious, I keep scratching myself. What should I do?
I don’t want to brag but I am kind of a professional in this. Pick whichever MARK you want, each one will help you. How does it work? Coconut and almond oil, that are a part of every scrub, are highly hydrating, creating a breathable barrier on your skin that protects it without the feeling of excessive greasiness. But if you want to know my opinion, reach for Coconut or Coffee Original. If you are prone to eczema, read this Testimonial from Jana and see how I helped her.
I am pregnant, can I use MARK?
First of all, congratulations :) Second of all, MARK is completely safe even during pregnancy. I am meant purely for external use and because I am 100% natural, there is nothing harmful, especially when I am used according to the instructions.
My skin is extremely red. Can I scrub despite the irritation?
If it is a long term situation, chances are you are dealing with enlarged veins or Rosacea disease or other skin issue. In case of irritated and red skin don’t massage the scrub in rather than apply it gently on top as a mask. This way you can leave it work for longer than 5 minutes. Don’t scrub. A nourishing “mask” like this calms the skin down and hydrates it. If you are lucky enough to go on an exotic vacation or hiking adventure this time of the year, maybe your skin is sunburned - in this case, try MARK Coffee Peppermint, it has slightly cooling properties which make it a perfect refreshment.
I would like to buy a scrub for my mom, is it suitable for mature skin?
I am always super happy to see mother-daughter relationships flourishing. I believe she will be content with the care and hydration I can provide. My ingredients in multiple aromas don’t differ much, so any scrub is suitable. However, from my experience, I would suggest Coconut or Chocolate, alternatively Coffee Original.
I am a fitness maniac. Do you have something for me as well?
You bet!!! Try MARK Coffee Peppermint. Peppermint oil cools down the muscles and freshens up your body. If you have a boyfriend or a gym buddy, he would love MARK for HIM after GYM, combination of peppermint and chocolate will put him in the perfect mood for after-gym activities :)
My cellulite is bothering me. It’s making me so uncomfortable. Help me please.
First of all, no reason to be uncomfortable. You are beautiful the way you are and let me tell you, cellulite doesn’t change that. Even celebrities and models have it. Just try to google Ashley Graham. This successful model is overweight and has cellulite but still she’s beautiful and desired. She is not ashamed to show her body and her imperfections to the world, she is proud of it. She radiates positivity and is a big ambassador of self love and self respect. The trend is to be “different” and most importantly, to be yourself.
But now cellulite. Of course I don’t want you to give up on yourself and stop taking care of yourself and your health. If you follow me you know I promote healthy lifestyle and fitness. And if you wish, of course there are things you can do. How? The caffeine in coffee increases blood circulation in the skin and is generally known for its beneficial effects on cellulite. In this case scrub needs to be massaged into the skin in big circular motions. Please use me long term, as it’s the case with all things that last, the results can’t come after the first use.
I hope you liked my first Q&A. If you have any other questions, feel free to send them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be more than happy to answer them and include them in my next blogs. :)
