no, don’t get me wrong. It is not my intention to preach that we should only express attraction and love one day of the year, Valentine’s Day. Not at all. But why not experience love on this day just that more intensively? Show your significant other how special and irreplaceable he or she is for you. I have some ideas for fun valentine surprises for couples and singles as well :)
- Wellness session for two
A couple wellness procedure where you can have a jacuzzi all for yourselves, sipping champagne and finish the night with a couple’s massage is a perfect valentine agenda. If you’re not a fan of 1+1 procedures, get a luxurious massage only for your partner so you can prepare everything for a romantic dinner. Dare to make it special. Your everyday fast food restaurant, though it is your favorite place, is not the same as a candlelit degustation dinner with a three-course meal. Don’t be afraid to get inspired!
- Experience the culture
Classic but underestimated. A fun romantic comedy in the movie theatre never fails. Or get tickets for a theatre play as a more fancy alternative. Talking from my own experience, your man might not be jumping from excitement in the beginning, but in the end, he’ll enjoy himself and will want to go again! Pick something “lite”, a romantic modern musical or a comedy drama. You will get a good laugh and the experience will be completely different from just watching Netflix at home.
- Have a romantic day/weekend
If you can’t take a day or two off, use the closest weekend after Valentine’s Day. You can stay at home, relax, go for walks and just enjoy each other’s company. You can take a one day trip to a close town and go exploring. Or even book a weekend stay at a hotel, where you can spend the days skiing and the evenings in a spa.

If you are still waiting for your prince on a white horse and actually loving the single life, there is no reason not to enjoy this day and celebrate yourself. Single life is full of opportunities and advantages. They say the greatest love is self-love. Without giving love to yourself first you can’t give proper love to others. Why not treat YOURSELF to a romantic night in? Get in a hot bath, light up candles, pour yourself a glass of good wine and enjoy your own company. To enhance the atmosphere and make you feel beautiful and pampered, reach for me, I am always happy to be there for you. I am a professional after all.
